    Can we have a pic of the whole plant from the side as well to see its general shape?

    I agree. A hebe of somekind.

    You will have to wait for it to flower before deciding whether you want to keep it. Most have flowers in shades of purple and can vary a lot in eventual height and spread. They flower on the tips of the branches so if you cut it back hard there will be no flowers for two years.
