HI. Can anyone identify this seed/plant? I found it from Japanese import car and I'm curious about it. Of course I have never seen anything like that before, I live in Finland.

Thank you already!

It is very hard and seed-like. 4 clovers are brittle. I found it from heater matrix/blower. Does persimmon grow in Japan?

Was your car made in Japan?  Most Japanese companies have car plants in Europe now so they can sell more cars without import controls and taxes.

However they're also grown in many other places across the globe where the climate suits.

and scroll down you'll see the calyx in its dried form as used in herbal medicines ... they look like the one in your photo.

It’s not a seed, the seeds are inside the fruit.

Thank you for your replies. So it is from Kaki, I see it now too.

My car is JDM (Japanese domestic market) car so it was made in Japan and sold only to Japan. It was later imported to Finland, after spending 14 years at Japan.

You can close this thread now, I got my answer. Thank you!
