Red Robin fallen over
in Plants
We have a Red Robin that is about 7ft tall.
It survived recent high winds, then about a day later fell over.
What is strange is that the leaves are all still attached and coloured correctly, the trunk isn't broken, the root ball hasn't been up-rooted. The trunk has simply bent.
Anyone know why this would happen, and whether it can be rescued?
It is free standing, but against a fence.

i would bet that its snapped roots and fallen over or the stem isn't as strong as it could be, with it being sheltered against a fence it hasn't had to send down as many roots or build up stem strength to hold itself up, i would stake it upright and maybe reduce the top growth to 4 foot to let it recover.
