Meant to go below zero - should I bring my plants inside?

i propogated some Hydrangea cuttings in autumn And recently purchased a dwarf buddleiand two lilac trees - should I move to our unheated porch? Our external walls all face the worst of the weather which is where they are now.

Assuming they're in pots , it wouldn't hurt to shelter them to prevent the containers freezing .

I would if the weather turns really bad. Otherwise up against a south facing wall to give some protection. Do not keep them inside once the weather warms up again, you want them grown hard. Soft growth is much more likely to be damaged by frost.
