Birds Nest Fern

Hey guys,

I have just noticed a strange brown mark on one of my birds nest frond. Not sure what it is but it looks as though something was spilled on it and has damaged it.

I thought it might be overwatering but it’s quite a strange mark. It gets ambient sunlight never direct.

Any help appreciated.imageimage
