  Banana peels are the best for orchids. Since I've read this article https://homeguides.sfgate.com/orchids-like-banana-peels-57514.html I give them to my orchids along with MSU (Michigan State University) fertilizer (I use "Feed ME!" from rePotme, you can find it here https://www.backyardstyle.com/best-fertilizer-for-orchids/). Banana is a great source of phosphorus, nitrogen, potash, potassium, and magnesium.
