Identity

Hi everyone

Our builder plated some boundary plants prior to us moving in. Can anyone tell me if they are a hedge style plant that will thicken out or will they remain as they are.

Not to sure what they are

Thanks

Possibly a Cornus of some kind?

The photo is too out of focus to ID but wonder about a variegated Prunus lusitanica. It's a more likely shrub to be planted in that position. Can be clipped as a hedge or left to grow enormous

    In the sticks near Peterborough
  • I think Nutcutlet may have it ... after all the Cornus is deciduous whereas the Prunus is evergreen ... assuming that the photograph was taken recently I'll go with the Prunus.
