Erysimum 'Bowles Mauve' alternatives

in Plants
I love Erysimum 'Bowles Mauve' but was wondering if there are any other perennial wallflowers that are just as good and reliable?
Have seen some namely Apricot Twist,Pastel Patchwork etc.
Does anyone have any experience of growing these?

those you name are less reliable. PP is a feeble thing and AT is far less hardy

Thanks,it's good to know from people who have had experience with them.
What about Winter Orchid and Red Jep?
Never met either of them, sorry

Maybe someone else has knowledge of them?
Bowles Mauve is a fantastic plant,I just wanted some different colours!
I've got some called 'Red Jep' which have been in pots all through this horrible winter (lots of snow and ice) and are still looking quite perky. Quite optimistic about them.
They are quite a dark red, with a purplish/brownish flush on the petal edges from what I remember of them last year, but they were very young then and didn't have that many flowers.
I have a feeling there's nothing else quite like that

I bought three plants of "Red Jep" last year and was very pleased with them. They were definitely "red" and provided a nice balance to the Bowles Mauve. They are looking quite good at the moment so I am hoping for a repeat performance (on larger plants) this year...
Thanks,I shall keep an eye out for that one and give it a go!
A friend has Red Jep and it performs very well, similar to BM
Hello there,
I have Winter Orchid, bought last season to try it as an alternative/addition to Bowles Mauve. It's been flowering continuously through the Winter and is still looking lovely. It has a gorgeous fragrance and has been attracting a few of the early bees - overall, I'm really pleased with it and will be looking for more and/or trying to take some cuttings later in the year.
