Mine don't seem to mind the chicories and endives, they only hide beneath the leaves. The same for parsley. Can't avoid them whacking the corianders, though.
Does it make any difference what you plant nearby? Could you plant something disgusting like parsnip nearby as a sacrificial offering or would you need to sacrifice something tasty like a green bean?
If you're looking for a sacrificial plant, the slugs devoured my lupin. It was only about 15" high, but there would be a dozen slugs on it each evening until it had gone

I have never had attacks on onions, tomatoes and corn.
They love my garlic, which I thought would never happen.

But I quite like lupins
. I never grow them because they're definitely slugs' delight.
