Hi, We have a huge monkey puzzle tree in our front garden. It is over 70 foot high and has been there for nearly 90 years. I am concerned that if we ever sell the house, the new owners may cut it down. Is there any way this can be removed to somewhere where it's future can be assured? It does not have any tree protection order in it.

I very much doubt that a Monkey puzzle tree 70ft tall could ever be moved successfully.
I agree with @Silver surfer … it’d be nigh on impossible to successfully move an Araucaria araucana of that age and size. I understand they have very deep tap roots.
When we move we have to steel ourselves and not look back … they may gut the lovely house, rip out your virtually new kitchen and bathroom and dig up the tennis court to grow potatoes. It’s their home now to do with it as they will … you have a chance to make your mark elsewhere … maybe not by planting a huge tree … but a few snowdrops will make you smile on a dark day. 😊

I'd also wonder what sort of hole would be left and how you'd deal with that, especially if the assumption is that you'd be doing it immediately prior to a move. I can't see many buyers being happy left with a gaping hole in the front garden of their new home.
The proximity of your tree to your house may concern many buyers as well as their surveyor or mortgage lender. There's some guidance on the Woodland Trust website on how to obtain a TPO if that's something you want to consider.

But at huge expense.
Could you afford to do it/Would you be willing to pay for this.... even if it could be moved?
