Planting Acer princeton gold in small garden
Hello!
We saw an Acer Princeton Gold platanoides at the garden centre today, looked up a few images online and really love the color and shape.
Our concern is we have a small garden (approximately 6x6m) and maybe the tree will be too big for this? The garden currently only has a few small plants and square lawn, no other existing trees or bushes.
Will the size be a problem, and would we be able to limit its size with regular pruning?

First of all, it's a big tree for such a small garden. Second, the leaves goes darker during summer.
There are several smaller Acer on the market, this one for example becomes only about 4 meters tall:

Just pick and choose.
