Spanish lavender in Scotland

    By accident, I found Nepeta fassennii, or any other form, works well in the Scottish climate and looks like lavender. This is the plant you find in B@Q that everyone switches from the six pack because they don't want it.  It comes back every year and I use it at the front of a long border.

    I do have a few louche cats who visit for a roll around, but it looks lovely and suits the Scottish climate very well.
