Likewise, I have zillions of taddies. I thought I would lose the spawn as it was laid just before the Beast from the East arrived but plenty have survived. Lots of food for the blackbirds when the tiny froglets leave the pond to explore dry land.
Where I walk the dog there are old clay pits, you have to keep your eyes peeled when walking in the area in order not to tread on the tiny frogs. The ground is heaving with them.
