Garden Lawn help

Hi
I wondered if anyone could give me some advise please. We had a new garden lawn around 3 years ago now but there is a big patch which is really bare (attached photos) every spring and autumn since i have tried to feed the lawn but nothing seems to be working but now there seems to be a lot of moss? growing in part of it. Does anyone have any ideas of how to revive this area please?

Is your lawn in shade? Sometimes, shade and heavy soil will make it harder for your grass to grow. Your lawn needs spiking and top dressing to keep the grass growing. Avoid doing the work now as the weather will be too cold. In the spring time, lightly rake the soil, spike the area and lightly brush in some topsoil. Then re-seed the sparse area afterwards.
