Thanks Lyn, Ive just purchased 30kg of sunflower hearts from this seller, Hopewell Feeds. They are in Rotherham which is close to me for collection if needed, but their next day delivery was a no brainer. They are excellent quality hearts, with no dust.
I usually buy from Croston Mill either directly from their website or via their eBay page, and again they are excellent quality hearts, with no dust. Just the same as from the Hopewells.
I mention dust because some sacks of hearts from different suppliers do contain a lot of dust. It settles to the bottom of the sack, or storage metal bin in my case, and when you get to the bottom your having to sift through dust to get to the hearts. Not so with Hopewells or Croston Mill. Both are excellent hearts with no dust or wastage. Hopwells are currently cheaper than Croston for hearts, but always worth checking.
Glad you’re please with Hopewell's, I tried Croston Mill for mixed bird seeds but didn’t like it as much as Hopewell Robin mix. So I will stick with them, more different seeds in the Hopewell one.
Also just bought these, it’s a very big bag, I think it’s good value I did a survey and this was the cheapest at the time and the product is very good.
