I have a cutting which has rooted but cannot identify it from any of my books. It was medium shrub growing in a hill top village in southern Spain. The photo looks sideways on but the flowers hung down from the shrub
its upside down, but it looks like a Viburnum or possibly a Daphne, chances are it won't be hardy coming from Spain.
Speaking of which you should never bring cuttings/plants back from holiday, it can bring diseases and pests into the country, that's why we have plant quarantine periods

I think it is a kind of Cestrum.
Thanks Dimwit - I have now found it - Cestrum Purpureum also known as Bastard Jasmine. I will keep it in the conservatory.
