Yes BL ...if roasted properly the fat renders down and the meat remains sweet and unctuous (a bit like confit duck) rather than dry as some other pork roasts can be ......... I've been roasting belly of pork since the 70s, long before it became fashionable and cheffy.
Flumpy, I'm just about to serve ..........................

Hi everyone. Very nice to see Glenys and Flumpy again. I’ve been wondering if you were short of water Glenys. The water restrictions have been shown on TV. Our water is ok, with little showers every few weeks. No town water here though. We have to collect and store our own supply. We hsd a bore drilled down about 40 metres several years ago and that gets used on the garden.
Flumpy, how are you getting on at work?
Weve woken to fine mist outside and there are little drops of it all over the fly screen. Very strange to look st.
Sorry Hosta, didn’t acknowledge your post. Wouldn’t if be good to be able to share weather.
Glad your first day back was ok.
We aften have Pork Belly BL. I recommend you try it.
We‘ve started taking Turmeric to see if it helps. I was very glad to read Michael Mosley report on it. He’s on TV tonight talking about medication for anxiety (the latest thing my Dr is keen on ). we’ll Be watching avidly. I don’t like the side effects and would like to get off it.

Evening all - Hi Pat!
We're back from our once-monthly singing day in York, tired but happy.
Good to see you again, Glenys - hope your garden survives the heat. I think I prefer the 1093mm average rainfall we get here, plus
