Ivy Identification

Hi Everyone

I've been using this forum for quite some time and have learnt a great deal! Many thanks to all! I wondered if anyone to help me with a question about ivy.

I've been collecting ivy plants from my local supermarket and wanted to know if there is a difference between the two types I have (photos attached). One is dark green with rounder leaves, the other is a lighter variegated with more angular leaves. The supermarket advertises both varieties as 'English Ivy', but I'm sure there is a difference??

Any help would be much appreciated!
