@Lily Pilly Your Autumnal look is good as well. What is the red shrub in the middle of the first photo? Wouldn't mind one of those  :)
    Euonymus alatus??
Your garden is lovely @Lily Pilly

Certainly looks like one @Hotafan1 so you must have good eyesight. Maybe @Lilly Pilly will confirm that. Does it stay that colour all the year round or is that being too hopeful?

It's green from Spring until now, but now it's starting its Autumn colour display. The seed pods are lovely too.

Thank you @Hostafan1 for getting back. Will definitely consider getting one if I can find the room! Something may have to go...   :/
  • Looking good, Runnybeak!   :)
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Still lots of colour in the garden................

Dahlias, lupin, echinops, verbascum, foxglove, campanula, pansy

    Cosmos, rose, clematis, gladioli, nicotiana

Cosmos flattened by the gales but still flowering, dahlia, nicotiana, zinnia just out of pic on right

  • Mary, I do love your Cosmos - they are so free flowering, bright dots - the plants have a mind of their own and will bend in the wind but still continue to flower so vibrantly.  I haven't grown any for a few years now but almost everyone who called at our house would comment on their outstanding beauty.
