PC help needed

Nothing whatsoever to do with gardening !
Though thinking of myself as 'reasonable' on a PC , I'm no expert .
Can anyone think why Google Gmail Notifier+ has suddenly and enigmatically reduced itself to approx. one-fifth of my laptop screen ?
When clicking on the icon on top-right , all I get is half a pane visible on GMail ; and can only read half the e-mails .
I've deleted and re-installed the programme twice , but it's just the same !
I'm running Windows10 and got the add-on from Mozilla Firefox .
Hope that's comprehensible to anyone who reads it . Thanks.
