Begonia Dragon wings

GrajeanGrajean Posts: 447

I have successfully overwintered a huge begonia Dragon wing in my cold greenhouse. Should I cut it back, if so how far down. I will be bringing it indoors to the utility for some warmth.

How tall or how old is this plant? You don't have to cut it down if it's the first or second year, but if it's very tall, you can cut it down or re-shape from now to spring. If it's healthy looking, no need to do much, just snip off dried up or damaged leaves. Keep it in a bright area but out of harsh direct sun. By spring they will start putting out new grow from the tips so you could take some cuttings on non flowering tips if you want. You done well leaving it in a greenhouse, I wouldn't...
