Environmesh or alternatives?

hi all,
doing lots of research and prep work ready for the seasons ahead. Wanted to ask people’s opinions on insect protection....how have people found cheaper versions e.g scaffolding debris netting? Or is it wiser to go for the more expensive fine environmesh to give best protection. have read about issues with adequately securing mesh due to being slippy and quite thick. I am looking to be able to drape over wooden supports easily.

Thanks for that scroggin!! Been debating back and forth. Since I’m a newbie I haven’t grown anything yet so couldn’t decide wether to invest or experiment first as I don’t know what pests I have on the plot... wasn’t sure if debris netting would stop insects as small as flea beetle though?
No it won't, need 0.8mm mesh for them. Scroggin, how much light gets through the debris netting? Do you have any issues with that? I'm tossing up between soft 7mm butterfly net and debris. While we have flea beetles they only make small holes in my experience rather than eat the whole plant like the two cabbage butterflies.

I have used the scaffold netting bought from amazon, I suppose if you want the ‘Green’ option, the enviromesh is the best, i remember hearing on tv that it’s made from recycled milk bottles. It’s very expensive compare to the amazon version
