heads up: Wilco garden stuff is back up
I’ve been watching and waiting for this like a hawk and it went live today:
Highlights I’ve seen are: wax enriched shed/fence paint is finally back, hose accessories, flexitub on sale, number of new secateurs, a new premium range mid length trowel for £7.50 (I have their premium steel fork and it’s as good as one double the price) their stonkingly good wheelbarrow, and blood fish and bone for £1.50.

I work for wilkos and was told that the most of the new seasonal lines go live this week. This will include the spring bulbs.
If you don’t need anything right now it is often worth waiting a few weeks as there won’t be any offers when a layout first goes on. Things like weedkiller, plant foods will all have offers on quite regularly but will stay at the rrp for a few weeks yet.
not all, stores with have full layouts immediately either as staffing tends to be low this time of year and it is quite a major job putting a whole new layout on and there isn’t always the staff available in each store to do it on the release day.
Online ordering is up and running now, brace yourself, in-store collections are coming.
Collections don’t worry me as I work nights so no customers to put up with.
i get a lot of my garden stuff from wilko. Not only does it tend to be cheaper but I get 20% discount and can shop when the store is closed.
it is not just ordinary garden stuff that is good value. I have had 27 close board fence panels delivered today. A mix of 3 ft and 6 ft panels. They are the same ones sold by all the major diy sheds (confirmed by the driver who had deliveries from several stories on his lorry all coming from the same yard)but work out £6 cheaper per board and that is before I add my discount.
Doghouse it’s not that complicated, if you don’t like the idea of using lockers you can have your deliveries sent to a post office or your local co op on many websites, amazon included. I find it a lot less complicated than ordering the old way by post from catalogues, less margin for error as you can see exactly what’s in your basket and know you haven’t written a code down wrongly.
I know, last year I slogged round trying to find glazing clips for the greenhouse, and they had them in Wilko! I loved the seeds in tins.
No doubt our store will be late
we didn't get bulbs in stock until October when others had by August this year but thank you for the heads up

Mark, surely the bulbs coming up for sale now will be summer bulbs, not the ones you plant in October/November? I don’t think they would have been selling those in October, or would they?
The seeds are good, I’ve bought several packets from them, I havent got a store anywhere near to me so I order online and pay the £4.00 delivery, you can easily make that up in savings from their goods.
I always buy the suet blocks, the birds love them and so much cheaper. Fence panels and trellis are good, as SS says, same as other DIY store but much cheaper. Wish I had a store near to me?
Another vote for Wilko. Great range of good value gardening basics.
And free Click & Collect from my local store.
Not sure, I just noticed that the Spring bulbs didn't come in stock until October/November this year where as the store I visited in Cardiff had them from August
I did the free click & collect though
The bulbs for sale in october/November are for Spring flowering, the bulbs for sale now are for Spring planting and summer flowering,
