Hi I brought a plant from Lidl at Xmas called pice a glauc a conic a Christmas tree will it be alright if leave it the shed by window so it will get light and Sun then about april going to put in the garden in a pot .will iit survive in the shed?
Hello Cherry7
Picea glauca var. albertiana'Conica' is exceptionally hardy , originating from the Canadian Rockies .
Will withstand anything the UK throws at it ! Temperatures of -30 to -40 will not harm it
On no account let it become dry EVER !! Coming from very high rainfall areas they thrive in moist ground .
Plant in the garden in full sunshine to maintain good compact growth and to retain its bluish colouration .
Hope this is of use to you and good luck with it !
PS
It isn't a Xmas tree ; that's Picea abies , originating from Scandinavia .
Looks like Christmas tree
