Raised Beds on Decking
Hi Guys, I have bought some raised beds 2 meters by 1 meter to put on some decking. I am planning to put a liner in this, but not sure what kind I should purchase.
Also I am concerned if the raised bed is put straight on the decking, this could rot it. if drainage is put in the liner. Is the only way to let the raised bed drain and the decking not to rot, to raise the bed above the decking a little.
The raised bed did not come with a bottom just the sides. Appreciate any help.

If you have soil in contact with your decking you will guarantee an accelerated deterioration of your decking of that you can be sure. Even if you do put some kind of liner down it will still be a problem.
The only solution I can think of would be to out a base on the raised bed and also some legs to give an air gap to help dry. In effect you will have created a planter.
