Old compost

Morning all,
Apologies, as I’m sure this question has been raised before, but which is the best fertiliser to add to old compost?
I have a fairly small garden with lots of pots of differing sizes, some used for annuals, and the larger for runner beans, sweet peas, tomatoes etc. I can’t afford to replace the old compost year after year and wondered what I can add to old compost to help improve nutrients etc...
We’re due some milder whether this week and like many of you, I cant wait to get out in the garden!
Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance ????

I would use Fish, Blood & Bone which is a slow acting organic fertiliser which feeds the whole plant. You can then choose to add tomato feed to encourage flowering and fruiting as the plants develop.

Thanks Dove. Much appreciated!
