Mice in the polytunnel!
Hello, i am 'novice' gardener and new to this forum. Could really do with some advice from anyone who has had problems with mice in polytunnels?
We moved to our house just a few months ago and the polytunnel has been acting as a temporary shed until we sorted out an alternative. I went in there today to start clearing it out ready to be used for it's actual purpose! and i see a hole in the earth just next to the hose reel and a small brown mouse sitting in the hole just staring at me. Have to say it was cute and not at all off putting - but i fear i may change my mind about it (them) when they start taking my seeds and shoots
Can anyone offer up advice on the best way of dealing with mice?
I don't love the idea of poison due to the fact we have alot of other wildlife and birds around us, would hate to indirectly kill any of them.
Thanks in advance

Mice or bank voles?
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Big cheese mouse traps, baited with nutella or peanut butter.
If there is a lot of wildlife, the mice are probably hunted already. Perhaps the easiest solution is to do nothing, or just wait a bit.
