How to *encourage* pond weed to grow?

It's not usually a problem, is it...they main issue is usually keeping them under control. But after a major renovation of my pond, I'm left with very little aerating weed, and I want to coax what little I've got into growth as quicly as possible. To that end, I've already put it all in a fish tank, in the greenhouse, so it's warmer than outside, and gets good light. Might I try some sort of fertilizer? A dash of tomato feed perhaps?

No ... good light and warmer temperatures are all that it needs ... but don't put it back into the pond until well into the spring or the cold temperatures will stop it's growth or even kill it off.

just leave it, it won't grow in winter, but come spring it will go bonkers in a greenhouse!
