excessive palm seeds pods in soil
I had to remove large palm trees from my property in Nth QLD Australia, as they were a threat to the property when cyclones threatened. The soil is fraught with multiple large palm seed pods where nothing can be grown. These are throughout the garden beds bodering fences & pool.
How can I get rid of the spreading seed pods & and get rid of them all together and replace the top soil so I can plant some small native shrubs?

Can you rake the pods out with a spring tine lawn rake? If you miss any and they germinate a good sharp Dutch hoe should deal with the seedlings if you keep your eyes open and attack before they're too large. It's how I deal with the many ash tree seedlings we get here.
