Advice please
Hello everyone. I would appreciate some advice please. My sister very kindly bought me three garden plants for Christmas. They are, a Rock rose (purple) an Olea eurapaea and a Mexican orange blossom (ternata) I'm not sure what to do with them at this time of year. Should I keep them inside until Spring? Re-pot them now or put them outside or in an unheated greenhouse. I live in Bedford UK. Any advice would be welcome.
Thanks. Martin

Hello Martin
I would put them in the unheated greenhouse and keep them just the damp side of dry until spring.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Will do. Many thanks.
Hi
If they are in 2 litre or 3 litre pots then they should be able to be planted out as long as the soil is not waterlogged of frozen. You could wait until the days get warmer and frost are not that servere. Ensure when you plant them out that you mix in some generous compost to the soil and bonemeal fertiliser. This will give them a good start and promote some good top growth

Forgot to mention that a 2 or 3 litre pot will mean they have a more generous root ball to take on any stress that the plants gets from sub zero temperatures
