What's wrong with my plant?

Hi all!

I just got this plant 3 weeks ago, it used to be all green but it started browning at the top almost immediately after I got it. I don't know what it's called. Please help!

Many thanks!

Jacqueline

It's looks like some form of conifer - a tree which grows outdoors, not a houseplant.    Probably too warm and dry.

I planted a couple of these in winter window boxes one year then transferred them to the garden.  They grew to about 3m high in just a couple of years and I was wondering how to tackle them when a -25C frost killed them.   Sorted.

Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Cupressus macrocarpa 'Goldcrest' ; an exceptionally vigorous outdoor conifer ; then again I can't think of many 'indoor' conifers image

  • Thanks so much everyone!! :)
