josusa47Was rather disguested to see one of the stars of Call the Midwife, requested a c. section, claimed it was because she was such a wimp she faints if she stubs her toe, well I had a c. section with my first, and consider it a major op hated it, much rather give birth naturally! I have to admit I didnt get 9 months to preper for mine they were all born early, went into labour at 32 weeks with my son. (Men step away from this converation now!!!) No, I havent seen that ad.I was a nursing auxiliary for over 40 years.
I agree, a section isn't the soft option some people think. Makes it more difficult to bond with the baby and establish breast feeding, yes it is major surgery. But sometimes it's a lifesaver.
Wheres the doom and gloom, programmes saving peoples lives at the 9th hour, and new life whats gloomy about that! Oh, of course I agree with the lifesaving bit josusa, but cant believe "celebrities" are "allowed" to opt for one.
