Palm -type plant losing foliage

Hello all. I'm new here and I'm a total gardening novice!  I'm looking for some help with my plant please.

Im not sure exactly the type of plant it is, but it's an outdoor palm-type plant which is on my decking.

A few weeks ago we had heavy snow here and sadly since then, my plant seems to have lost most of its foliage. I've attached a photo to my post.

Is my plant completely dead, or is there anything I can do to rescue it before it's too late?  Thank you.

that's not an outdoor plant, that's a house plant,

they do not like cold, let alone snow. i think its a good chance that its a dead as a doornail.

  • It looks like a Dracaena which are house plants in the UK although they can go outside in the Summer.  They can't take any degree of frost and yours looks dead although it might sprout new shoots if the trunk survived.  All you can do is cut off the dead foliage and any parts which feel soft and put it somewhere warm and light indoors.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
