To Name a Mockingbird

I know the picture is c*y, but is this a kind of mockingbird? It was feeding on fruit in my garden. Thank you.

    As far as I know, mockingbirds are a USA species.  Not British or European.   Where are you?

    Brazil, Obelixx. I know it's desperation, but I don't know any bird watching forum here (or anywhere!) and I'd like to know which bird this is I have never seen. There are many European birds in my town (turtledoves, wrens, sparrows), so maybe...

    Try a wildlife website.  Eg, in the UK there is the RSPB which has a list of all birds native to and visitors to the UK.  There must be something similar for the USA and South America, if not Brazil.

    It does look like that one, Muddle-Up. It certainly was impudent, and stood up against the thrushes that have taken my garden over!
