Tall umbrella plant, lost most leaves after flowering
I was given a house plant umbrella tree (Schefflera actinophylla). It mainly has three stems. Two are 4 feet tall and the third is 7 7feet.
Earlier this winter it flowered, then proceeded to loose most of it's leaves. It only has leaves on the last few inches of each stem. And the remains of the flowers.
What should I do to bring it back to life?
I don't mind pruning it right back, as its very very leggy and could do with being a better shape, but I didn't know if leaving it with no leaves is a good idea? Or should I just leave it as is?
It is a orangery with good light, though it is in a slightly shaded corner.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
