Aubergine

So last year I planted aubergines in my greenhouse, 2nd year the 1st year I had a crop last year I had lots of flowers but no fruit. Can anyone help me with where I went wrong ! Do I need to pollinate them myself I did not the first year.

They should be ok without help but if you're not getting fruits to set then I'd try using a fine artists brush. Make sure the compost isn't drying out and that the air isn't too humid ... a tricky balance in some years.

Electric toothbrush is good for buzz-pollinating aubergines and peppers (you can remove the head first).
