Roots

Hi all!

I am cleaning up my raised beds and getting them ready for planting, while doing so I’ve found that two of my beds are ridden with tiny spongy roots. They’re everywhere! I’ve attached a few pics below. Can someone tell me what they are? Good or bad?any help is much appreciated! imageimage
