Red blotches on sarracenia (pitcher plants)

I have a lot of red blotches on the pitchers of my sarracenias.
I keep them in an unheated greenhouse. Does anyone know if this is normal or do they have a virus?

sounds like cold damage, they will be absolutely fine,
most Sarracenia are a tough as old boots, mine are in an outside bed and we had -9 a couple of weeks ago, I'm expecting no long term damage on them so yours will be fine.
