    Those pylons are brilliant! I would have loved one (or several) when I was young to go with my train set and Meccano (I wasn't a girlie girl). @wild edges tell your son I'm very jealous. 
  • What an imaginative world! I remember tents made out of laundry airers - not  quite as  offbeat or exciting...

    What joyous and innocent lives of little ones and the places their imaginations take them. Our grandson, who is 6, is very much into Lego and I have built two bases with him over the months( these must never be dismantled or added to in his absence) and I regularly  have battles with him, flying our "aeroplanes" or spacecrafts ( that look nothing like the real ones) but the fun and joy I have with him, in his imaginary world, is absolutely priceless.and all  this play takes place on the floor😬 I do have trouble getting up afterwards......
