Hello everyone, I’m new on here today!
ive been going through some photos from the autumn and came across this one from a friends garden and I’m wondering what it is? Looking through my gardening books and a bit on line I can’t find what it’s called. I’m sure someone will know straight away and I’ll no doubt say oh yes I know!!

Wow quick response thank you! Now I need to look it up and how to care for it!
Did your seeds grow that I sent you? Mine didn’t!
I may have more pictures for you, it’s cold outs and I’m trawling through photos today!
I don't think they did Lyn but if they don't germinate I soon forget about them

Rehmannias are short lived perennials needing good drainage ; collect seed if possible
.
There's a hybrid between R. elata and R. glutinosa, 'Walberton's Magic Dragon', looks much the same but no seeds. I bought it in error without reading the label, died, no seedlings
