Not quite gardening weather today but went to fill the bird feeders and noticed my Echium has two heads. A second one has grown from the main "stem". (This is the one I bought last December and overwintered indoors). It is really well established. Is this something that can happen quite often or not. Should I cut it away or just leave it to do its own thing? Feel it would affect the main plant if I removed it. They are both as good as one another.😧

I would leave it, they can be temperamental.

Thanks for your reply @Lyn. I shall leave well alone and wait to see what happens if it survives the winter. Could be interesting.  :)
