Snow - anything to do?

  • snow started on Teesside after dark, it then snowed on and off for a couple of hours, woke up to 2 - 2.5 inches of snow - not forecast at all. overnight was below -6.5 degree c and this mornings commute to 1 and a half hours longer than normal!

    Still havn't had any of the white-stuff yet (E.Lincs.) ; last night dropped to +2C but froze very briefly this morning !

    East Sussex, did snow this morning the very "wet" stuff, didnt lay because of all the rain yesterday, looked rather nice on the Downs!

     Wow Pete I'm 6 miles from you in Basildon and we only had a couple of inches of snow.. I am just enjoying the christmas card views image

    Just started snowing here @ 8.30pm ; shall be annoyed if it affects my job plans for tomorrow ; getting a large garden tidied before property goes on the market image ; best place for snow , on a Xmas card .

    @BLT - what a difference 6 miles makes!

    Yesterday it was pouring with rain at 7am - by 9 it was snowing heavily again until about 3pm.
    There's about 4-5" still laying today, I've not ventured out yet - but the dog felt very cold when she came in just now

  • only -4 overnight, so an improvement from last nights nearly -7, more snow overnight, just enough to freeze my frost cover to my car windscreen. :-(
