Wise choice for climbing roses?

It's taken a long time but I have decided on two roses to cover my ugly 8ft garage wall, dark compost bin & water butt area. The brick & garage walls are adjacent to each other, face north east & have full sun (in the growing season). Pic attached taken a couple of weeks ago. Soil...clay which will be 'improved' with garden compost 50cm cubed.

The climbing roses chosen are Gloriana & Parade. Wise choice? I really want this to work & not have the future possibility of "rose sickness" if it's a bad decision.
