Hard to tell from that picture but google Common Sorrel (rumex acetosa) and see if that matches.
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
I think you could be right! I will take a closer photo next time I’m in that garden ? the leaf almost has the shape of a guitar!
