Box hedge sempervivens buxus

I grew three box balls from cuttings a few years ago. They are now a decent size. Does anyone know when is the best time to transplant them into larger pots and what compost to use?

  • Thank you Philippa for your reply. The box balls vary between 16 - 18 inches in circumference and are about one foot high. I have already pruned them into shape a bit. Since moving from Cornwall to north Devon a couple of years ago they do not seem to be doing so well. That why I was thinking about repotting them. You have already given me advice on compost but do you know the best time to repot?
