Watering potted citrus during winter

hi,

l‘ve four potted citrus plants, which I’ve moved to the greenhouse for winter. But my question is how often should they be watered during this perio, as they’ve been in there now for a few weeks already, nicely wrapped as well. Too keep them frost free.

  • They'll need little if any water over the winter unless the greenhouse is really heated (like an orangery, not just to keep it above freezing).

They can cope with dry cold ........... cold and wet will rot the roots.

  • Ok thanks I wasn’t sure so thought I’d better ask.

If it gets too dry, the leaves start to curl. At that point I water it and make sure it drains well.
