Cherry laurel leaf mould?

Hi,
Ive had these doing nothing at he back of the garden in a heap for three months. I'm slowly stripping the leaves and mowing hem up to go into the compost heap.
They're leaves from a Prunus laurocerasus.
However I notice some of them are starting to look a bit moody, so I'm wondering if they can go in the leaf mould pile instead?

There is nothing wrong with putting them on the pile, but they will take a while to break down. Maybe mow over them to get them more smaller to speed up the process.
