I planted a number of alliums, all sorts, about 8 weeks ago. This included some allium sphaerocephalon. Today when planting out the last of my tulip bulbs, I couldn't help but notice that all the allium are already sprouting quite significantly :s will this damage there chances of a good bloom next summer? Most alliums have foliage that grows well before the flowers and is half-dead (or more) by the time the flowers open. It's just how they are.
