We were told that it is three plants and the photo is of a genuine plant - we were told that there is a 50/50 chance ours will look that good when it matures - for the low price we paid, it is worth a punt.
Pop a picture of it in flower on here peweuk. It will be interesting to see just how it turns out. Good luck with it. It is certainly eye catching and the Red Admiral seems to be enjoying it's flowers.
Apparently, according to a neighbour at our new house whose mother ran her own nursery for years, the photo shows a plant where the owner has, over the years, organised the new growth to mix the way it is shown.. I can see that this would be possible as we were constantly re-routing the new growth on plants to get an even spread over our old fence.
