Some kind of mold?

Hi all,

Theres something growing under my bush that looks like it has some kind of mold on it.

Can anyone say what it is and if it's a threat to the bush over it?

    It looks like a wood avens with mildew, under a cotoneaster. I would pull the diseased plant out.

     Thanks, I've dig it out alongside with some other things - is this mildew the "right kind" of fungus for a leaf mould pile?
